Description of Bostitch SDA250K 15 Gauge 1-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Angled Finish NailerDrive nails with lightning speed and incredible ease with the Stanley SDA250K angled finish nailer. This versatile air-powered tool accepts 15-gauge, D-head finishing nails ranging in length from 1 to 2-1/2 inches long. The tool?s angled magazine allows nailing in tight spaces and corners, making it ideal for installing crown molding, shoe molding and tongue-and-groove flooring and paneling. The magazine holds up to 100 nails, which easily load from the rear. Also, the 15-gauge, D-head nails provide more hold down power than the thinner 16-gauge nails used in most other finish nailers. Therefore, this tool can be used to fasten larger, thicker pieces. The SDA250K has a working air-pressure range of 70 to 120 pounds per square inch. It features a non-marring rubber tip, adjustable depth setting and a quick-release nose for clearing jammed nails. This tool can handle a wide range of woodworking and carpentry applications, including interior and exterior trim work, cabinetry assembly, furniture making and stair building. And at just over 4 pounds, you can use it all day without becoming fatigued.-- Joseph Truini What?s in the Box Stanley SDA250K 15-gauge finish nailer, five hundred 2-1/2-inch nails, lubricating oil, plastic carrying case.
Tools and Hardware Reviews of Bostitch SDA250K 15 Gauge 1-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Angled Finish NailerCustomer Review: Lightweight & Solid; Smooth Operator Summary: 5 Stars
Of my three "Black & Yellow" best friends, Stanley has been my friend for the longest; even my Dad born in 1911 knew him pretty well. Most of my contacts with Stanley have been his tape measures, squares, or other woodworking hand tools. Since Stanley sold his power tool business to Bosch in around 1980, I haven't seen too many power tools from him, other than maybe a 1/4" Die Grinder or impact wrench. With these latest offerings of serious pneaumatic woodworking/carpentry nailers and staplers I can begin again to enjoy the design innovation and quality Stanley has been known for for over 100 years. This nailer is a pleasure to use, being lightweight, yet very solidly constructed. I'm sorry the gov't won't allow bump fire as much as in the past because this tool would work great with rapid fire being small and light. 5 stars, the best.
