Customer Review: Right tool for the job - "Priceless"

After a lot of research and reading reviews of pin nailers, I selected the Bostitch as it seemed to offer the best price/value. No regrets. My pinner is now on my top ten list of favorite tools.
I've been using it for a remodel project to hold stop and edge moulding in place while the glue drys. Nail holes are barely visible. In fact, since my project will be painted, there's no need to fill and sand - huge time saver. This would not be possible with my 18 gauge brad nailer.
Like others, I have found the secondary safety trigger a little awkward, but I'm not sure I would remove it. Its hard not to depresses the safety trigger when just picking up the nailer - now its ready to fire. I have accidently fired the nailer (very little pressure reqired unlike other nailers)while positioning the gun on several acassions sending a small missile across the room.
I've been using 1" Cadex pins. Over several weekends of heavy use, the the Bostitch has performed flawlessly. Not a single misfire or jam and every pin has been properly set after initial pressure set up with absolutely no variation.
I've had to remove a few pieces of moulding while fitting others and was surprised at the holding power of such a small nail. They are so fine that they look like you could pull them out with your fingers. Wrong!!!! I've had to use lineman pliers with a lot of leverage action to pull them out. They will not pull straight out. Unbelievable!
I recently ordered a part from Bostich for another product and confirmed with customer service that the Kit with the case has not been released (no word on when it will be either). As such, you still cannot order a case seperately :-(
If you are considering a 23 gauge pinner, I highly recommend the Bostitch. No buyer remorse here!
